This crazy month has brought me to my knees in prayer for our baby girl Hartley. The power of prayer has never been more evident than her story of survival and continued growth. Praying the scriptures is so powerful, and while I am learning this lesson later in life I wanted to create a “scripture memory set” for kiddos to get them started much earlier! This set of cards featuring 40 verses range from super short to longer verses, all powerful and helpful in facing life’s circumstances. These cards are printed on synthetic paper (super durable) and can withstand tons of tape removal as you put them on the fridge, a mirror, a window, etc. I have high hopes for this set assisting in the developing faith of your little ones, mine included 💗 (➡️$25 per set plus tax, link in bIo, message me if you prefer porch pickup in Houston!)

Hartley is ONE month! 👏🏼🎉 While I never thought we’d be taking her one month picture in the NICU…I’m so grateful that she is alive and improving little by little each day.
Hartley, you are a fighter. The odds were stacked against you as you entered this world 7 weeks early. We still don’t know how long this NICU life will last, bc girlfriend- you’ve got a lot going on inside your beautiful little body. You remind your daddy and I daily of how He has not forgotten us and shows up everyday on the little victories of your improvements. He has a great big plan for you, you’ve already stirred the hearts of many. In your 4 weeks of life you’ve been showered in prayer and have made a lasting impact in my faith personally, and hopefully many more. Keep fighting Hartley, there are LOTS of people ready to meet you! 💗

On June 21, 2021 our sweet Hartley Ann Sauer made her debut into the world....7 weeks early due to an emergency c-section after a routine ultrasound showed some terrifying things. Hartley was born with excess fluid in her brain and abdomen and we didn't know if she would make it. In her two weeks of life, she has undergone brain surgery, countless tests, and the road ahead will be long, but good thing she is our kid- a fighter! God has revealed himself in so many ways, through doctors, through our community, through our marriage, and mostly through this little precious 4 lb human. Join us in praying for our sweet Hartley Ann as we strive to figure out what is going on in her complicated little body, how to fix it, and how to get her home as soon as we can to meet her VERY excited big sister Reagan. To those walking alongside us as we become NICU parents and figure out what our new normal looks like, thank you. We love you. Keep the prayers coming!
